Dear Marcia,
A simple "thank you" seems so inadequate in response to the unbelievable services of Triangle Mothercare. We were nervous about how we were going to be able to cope with the lack of sleep and demands of breastfeeding accompanying a newborn, along with the care of our 4-year old, following my difficult pregnancy. Our fears were allayed the minute you arrived and busied yourself in helping me with my every need. From your expert assistance with breastfeeding, to your changing every diaper without being asked, to your gourmet meal preparations nourishing me and my family, to keeping on top of all those loads of laundry, I was able to get all the rest I needed and one-on-one time with my 4-year old. Our family time together during this usually stressful transition time of adding a newborn baby was so smooth and peaceful primarily due to your tremendous service and calming manner. You allowed me to rest and did so many household chores while managing the baby's and my care, that our evenings together as a family were wonderfully peaceful and happy times. Your wisdom and advice on the baby's needs were invaluable.
I had family members help us out with our first son when he was a newborn, but having you as our doula this time was amazingly much better because there was no emotional baggage to contend with an extended stay of an in-law, and you were there to anticipate my needs as a post-partum mother and not just hold the baby like so many well-meaning friends and relatives want to do. I think every mother should have a postpartum doula. Thank you for being the best!
Sincerely,
Susan Mullins |

Dear Marcia,
"Saint Marcia", as we say in our household. I am writing to thank you for all your love and support during the first few months of our son's life. When I was at the end of my pregnancy, my mother suggested I hire a postpartum doula for the first few days after we returned from the hospital. As a first time, I had no idea then what a postpartum doula was. Did I really want a stranger coming into my house during that precious time? Wouldn't I know how to take care of my own son? The answer to the latter was yes, and no. Yes, my natural instincts and my little boy's innate wisdom would eventually lead us, but I did not take into account how tired my body would be from the birthing experience and how my hormones would turn my world upside down. I quickly learned the definition of a postpartum doula; they are part sister, part nurse, part teacher, part cheerleader and all parts friend. I could not have survived those first few weeks without you. Just seeing you walk in our front door, with your calm energy and gentle smile, gave me the strength to continue. With your tender supportive care and expertise with newborns, I was able to find my focus and gain back my strength, including finding the energy to continue breastfeeding even though it seemed it would never work. (My son and I are now doing great!)
Triangle Mothercare is now top on my list of recommendations for all new moms I meet. You make an enormous contribution to the lives of so many women, enabling them to look back with joy on those sweet early days with their newborns. Our family will never forget you!
Sincerely,
Robyn Yigit Smith |

Dear Marcia,
Lynne and I wanted to take the opportunity to express our thanks for the outstanding post-partum support that you provided following the recent birth of our daughter Lillian.
Lillian was our first child, so we really didn't know what to expect upon returning from the hospital. combined with the fact that my wife had a c-section and that we didn't have any local relatives, I'm not exaggerating when I tell you what a lifesaver that your service turned out to be for us.
Your expert guidance on how to care for our newborn, combined with your outstanding cooking, and your uncanny ability to know just what we needed done around the house when we needed it, made you an invaluable member of our househol in those very hectic first few weeks as parents. But perhaps mostly importantly, you enabled my wife and I to rest and recharge our batteries while at the same time knowing that Lilly was in the absolute best of hands.
Your support during this most critical time enabled us to get our bearings as new parents and keep our stress to a minimum. I find it rare that a service exceeds expectations in every respect. But Triangle Mothercare certainly did that for us.
Lynne and I are please to serve as a reference for your outstanding service.
With warm regards,
Matthew and Lynne Brody
